Taxonomic note:

A junior subjective synonym of Maliarpha separatella Ragonot, 1888; synonymized by E. L. Martin (1958: 187). Had been synonymized with Anerastia pallidicosta Hampson, 1896 by R. Paulian & P. Viette (1956: 189).
