Taxonomic note:

A subjective synonym of Audea tegulata Hampson, 1902; synonymized by L. Kühne (2005b: 71). The ♂ syntype was designated as paralectotype by L. Kühne (2005b: 73) and included in the type series of Audea blochwitzi Kühne, 2005.
