Acrapex spoliata (Walker, 1863) Holotype NHMUK Holotype ♀, in very poor condition, genitalia slide lost (see B. Le Rue et al. 2020a: 57–58, 80), NHMUK. Sierra Leone Sierra Leone, leg. D. F. Morgan. Le Ru B. P., Capdevielle-Dulac C., Musyoka B. K., Pallangyo B., Njaku B., Goftishu M., Assefa Y., Chipabika G., Conlong D., Ong’amo G., Barbut J. & Kergoat G. J. 2020a. Toward an understanding of the systematics and evolution of the genus Acrapex Hampson, 1894 (Lepidoptera: Noctuidae: Apameini: Sesamiina): molecular phylogenetics of the genus and review of the species-rich Acrapex aenigma group. page 63
Distribution note:

The records of Uganda (Hampson 1910d: 318; Janse 1937–1939) are misidentifcations of Acrapex ketoma Le Ru, 2020, and the records of Zimbabwe (same references) are misidentifications of Acrapex mazoe Le Ru, 2020 (see B. Le Ru et al. 2020a: 58); the record of DR Congo (Kiriakoff 1954e: 54) probably refers to Acrapex obscura Le Ru, 2020.
