Taxonomic note:

The holotype and several paratypes are former paralectotypes of Tinea adamasta Meyrick. All specimens identified as Perissomastix fulvicoma (Meyrick) by Gozmány are referable to Perissomastix dentifera (see Gozmány & Vári 1973: 98).
