Taxonomic note:

The ♀ paralectotype (North Kivu in Gaede 1928: 433, but Rwanda in Schintlmeister & Witt 2015: 97) belongs to Antheua liparioides (see A. Schintlmeister & G. M. László 2025: 300).

The record of South Africa (Gaede 1928: 433) needs confirmation as the specimen is probably labelled incorrectly (see A. Schintlmeister & G. M. László 2025: 300).
