Plant note:

Stem borer, leaf-miner, and leaf-eater on Protea sp. (see A. C. Myburgh & D. J. Rust 1975: 58). Larvae found in lower part of young flower-heads. Pupae attached at anal ends to side or top of box in which the specimens were bred (see C. G. C. Dickson 1947: 130).
