Not in South Africa (see Janse 1963: 260); the record of Congo (Ghesquière 1940c: 108) needs confirmation (see Park et al. 2019: 209). The record of Equatorial Guinea (Strand 1913d: 82) probably refers to Ptilothyris ruicheensis Park & Karisch, 2021.
