Oriental: India, Philippines, Sri Lanka; Palaearctic: Afghanistan, Algeria, Canary Islands, Crete, Corsica, Dalmatia, Egypt (Sinai), Iran, Iraq, Israel, Italy, Jordan, Lebanon, Morocco, Palestine, Syria, Tunisia, Turkmenistan. The record of La Réunion (Mabille 1897b: 390) is erroneous (see P. Viette 1957d: 192).
