Distribution note:

The records as indecora from Cameroon (Strand 1912c: 114), Democratic Republic of Congo (Aurivillius 1906: 9, Rebel 1914a: 279, Kiriakoff 1963a: 79), Eritrea (Berio 1939a: 59), and Tanzania (Aurivillius 1910c: 17), and as bipars from Sierra Leone (Schaus & Clements 1893: 31) are misidentifications of other species (see J. G. Joannou & M. Krüger 2009: 122).
