Taxonomic note:

This species belongs not to Eressa but probably to Amata (J. J. de Freina i.l. 31.i.2019). If this taxon were transferred to Amata, it would need a replacement name because it would cause a junior homonymy with Amata pleurosticta (Hampson, 1898) from Borneo.
