Taxonomic note:

A junior subjective synonym of Schoenoplaca typicota Meyrick, 1933; synonymized by E. Meyrick (1935a: 554). The second syntype (1♀ in BMNH, genitalia slide 20024) was identified by K. V. N. Maes (2002c: 1722) as Adelpherupa elongalis Maes, 2002.
