Taxonomic note:

Transferred to Ectoedemia by M. Scoble (1978a: 84). One male paratype is misidentified and belongs to Ectoedemia commiphorella Scoble, 1978; the 2 female paralectotypes do not belong to this species (see M. Scoble 1978a: 85).
