Taxonomic note:

A junior subjective synonym of Tachosa acronyctoides Walker, 1869; synonymized by A. Legrain and L. Kühne (i.l. 30.iii.2020. The paratype is not conspecific with the holotype and is a synonym of Tachosa aspera Kühne, 2004.
