Distribution note:

This species is confined to the vicinity of Mt Kenya. The records of Mozambique (Rindos et al. 2022: 92), Uganda (Tams, 1930e: 485) and Tanzania (NHMO) belong to other Tamsita species (see M. Rindos et al. 2025: 12).
