Taxon remarks:Type species: Idiotephra curvivena Warren, 1899. Novitates Zoologicae 6: 61. By original designation. Had been included by Parsons et al. (1999: 559) as a junior synonym of Luxiaria Walker, 1860. Considered by J. D. Holloway (1994) and by M. Krüger (2000d: 103) as a valid genus.
