The record of Tanzania (I. Lehmann 2009: 201, as latifasciata) refers to Kayamuhakaia aarviki Lehmann, 2025 (see I. Lehmann 2025: 223). The record of Uganda (D. S. Fletcher 1968a: 329) refers to other Kayamuhakaia species (see I. Lehmann 2025: 75).
