Distribution note:

Eulocastra neoexcisa Berio, 1954 is the objective replacement name for Acontia excisa Butler, 1889, a junior primary homonym of Acontia excisa Swinhoe, 1885. This is an Oriental species which has erroneously been reported on several occasions for the Afrotropical fauna.
