Distribution note:

Palaearctic: Malta. This species has often been recorded as Eudocima phalonia (1763) or as one of its synonyms, an Oriental–Australasian species which does not occur in mainland Africa or Madagascar (see R. J. Borth & H. L. Kons 2022: 23).
