Distribution note:

The records of La Réunion (Viette 1958e: 41) and Mauritius (Hampson 1905a: 500, Pinhey 1975: 189) refer to Cirphis pyrausta Hampson, 1913 (see Viette 1963a: 199, 202). The records of Comoros (Pagenstecher 1907: 103) and Madagascar (Strand 1917h: 470, R. Paulian & P. Viette 1956: 212) are also erroneous (A. Legrain i.l. 06.viii.2017).
