Australasian: Australia (introduced), Fiji, New Caledonia, Rapa, Tonga; Oriental: Borneo, India, Philippines, Taiwan; Palaearctic: Afghanistan, Algeria, Azores, Canary Islands, China, Egypt (Sinai), France, Iran, Israel, Japan, Jordan, Korea, Lebanon, Libya, Madeira, Morocco, Nepal, Palestine, Spain, Syria, Tunisia. Most of the records of subsaharan Africa should probably be identified as Leucania curvula Walker, 1956; there might be an overlap of the distribution areas (A. Legrain 31.vii.2022).
